"Murderpack?" Really? What happened to the Space Wolves being about honor and all that? "Murder" is a death that's not justified. So suddenly the Space Wolves are all about unjustified killing? Really?
But hey, a formation? Guess I'll be converting a few more of these guys!

Discretion being the better part of valor, the best defense is a dead adversary.

Funny - I actually created a campaign after the EoT codex came out where the 13th Company returned to Fenris, and they were followed by Chaos (chasing them) and Dark Angels and Grey Knights (supported by other forces of the Imperium) to exterminate them (though I think back then GKs were more of a novelty). Worked out well (about 1/3 of our gaming group had Space Wolf armies, so it actually worked out well) except for the fact that we used City-Fight rules for when armies made it into the Fang... and the 13th Company was utterly broken to begin with, but even more so for City-Fight.
So about this cool, original campaign... not sayin... just sayin...

Anyone else hoping that the Thousand Sons get a bit of new model love?

No Ulric miniature leaks yet?

yuck those wolfen are horrible minatures did someone hit the sculpters on the head with something? or did they have a couple to many in bugmans bar?
-
I toyed around with the original 13th Company list back in the Eye of Terror Codex. They were perhaps a bit broken, but I loved the fluff and the miniatures. Unfortunately, these new Wulfen aren't doing it for me. :(

Yeah the new ones are so ugly.

I dunno. I'm torn.
I think they convince more as meta-human Werewolves than their predecessors. They resemble the Werewolves I'm used to seeing in such films as The Howling, American Werewolf in London and (the superb) Dog Soldiers - taller and rangier than a human.
But some of the poses? I think I want to see them in the flesh, and find out whether it's just how they've been built, rather than how one has to build them.
