Shall order it Fri/Sat.
Daddy needs his fifth and sixth Knights!
Which reminds me.....two of my existing are the Forgeworld hybrid kits. I'm considering forgoing the Mechanicum armour plating and just using the plastic. If anyone would like to make me an offer for the resin bits (not including the weapons or heads!) you know how to PM!
-
these shall be my first two, very much looking forward to building them
-
They're a really satisfying kit to build.
Need to dig out the sprues though. There's little bracing bits which go on the ankles which the greaves attach to. Managed to miss those first time around.
-
yeah I bet, I already know what pose I want the Gallant in, will make the second as a Warden. then when I get a second set, Crusader and Paladin.
-
Reckon an Errant with Fist for that classic look, and a Warden for me. Then I'll just need a Gallant....and probably a second Paladin.
-
I used magnets on the shoulder armour on mine, makes it really easy to swap arms on them to field them as I need, no muss, no fuss!
-
Yeah....far too lazy to be arsed with such shenanigans :p
Might be worth doing a 'how to' article for such an endeavour though. I get the principle behind magnetising, but can never source the magnets, nor figure out how best to mount them etc.
So despite my ambivalence to the endeavour, I'm pretty confident I'm not the only one pondering how one goes about it :)
-
I may magnetise mine, but only for travel purposes, rather than swapping weapons out.
-
Shouldn't need to magnetise for transport. The arms are easily removed, as are the armoured pads - good wide fixing points on those :)

I kind of want to build a Knight with twin powerfists so it can do this:
