When I started it I did three, then four+some dlc straight away, then went back to 2, decided it was terrible, mostly because its so unstable, you eventually get used to the weird controls. Then bought this in the xmas sale, but was playing fallout 4, then got distracted by mordheim, and xenoblade, but I've been ill for the last week so needed something about more "mindless".
I liked 2, it has an actual plot, unlike the others :p
I was quite enjoying it once I got used to the wonky controls, I preferred 3 tbh out of them all. But 2 kept crashing to desktop on me so I didn't finish it.

Like every 30-40mins max it was like gaming at the turn of the century again.
3 had a lot going for it, other than the story just being a rehash of 2. 2 had some really dark moments, alongside the silliness, and it actually worked well. it had pretty good writing really.
I do regret dismissing them as just another gta clone for so long, they're more like a gta parody turned up to 11.
I am really hoping that if they make another they take elements from 2, 3, and 4. 4 was fun, but I didn't really like the super powers and I didn't like the constant darkness and red everywhere.
Yeah, we've done the red/dark thing lets go back outside. Maybe remake 2 in the modern engine even. The super powers were a fun novelty but I wouldn't miss them.
a remake of 2 I would be up for.
the super powers would have been interesting later in the game, but it made no sense that you start with a mission to steal and mod a car, then the very next mission makes vehicles redundant.
Yep.
As much as I love flying around the map like a bird, it has made it ridiculously easy.
