I was really looking forward to Just Cause 3, but apparently it has utterly horrific technical issues on console, and I am not sure my PC will run it.
I did see a post on r/pcmr that shows it a good two or so points higher on IGN's PC review than the consoles.
But really Just cause 2 was horribly broken - playable yes, but still horribly broken.
First one put me off for life. Awful, awful vehicle physics.
I'm in my leetle tank, bombing it along. Just for laffs, decide to run over a Scooter rider.
Net result?
Scooter rider slightly wobbles, my leetle tank and I wind up upside down in a tree. On fire.
Just......no.
Just Cause 2 was amazing. don't know about the PC version but it was spectacular on Xbox 360. so much fun, loads to do, huge, ran perfectly. so incredibly disappointed to hear that 3 chugs horrifically. apparently the framerate drops below 30 any time you try to do anything adventurous, and the load times are so awful that everybody avoids doing any crazy stunts because dying is such a chore. When I heard the initial reports I decided to wait until it was patched, but a lot of the issues sound like they are so fundamental I don't know if they can actually be patched.
I played it on PS3 and PC.
On both the AI and physics were all over the place.
On PC I had to borrow an xbox pad as all the aerial stuff was literally unplayable with a mouse and keyboard.
It was great fun. It was also far too easy.
one of the best open world games of the last generation, sticking people together with the hookshot, or sticking pursuing vehicles tot he road so they flipped over never got old
oh dear

still, Ace Combat 7, which will be awesome.
I haven't played one of those since it was still called air combat.
I absolutely loved Assault Horizon, still my go to air combat game, so fairly excited for 7
