Well yes I don;t multiplayer, well maybe some old school hot seating...
in the last few months I have been regularly checking the Playstation weekly releases now that I have playstation plus, and a PS4 (my PS3 having a full hard drive for years). I have come to notice that they do an awful lot of profile pics you can buy that are aggressive or outright insulting. In a medium in which there is already terrible behaviour by the online community, selling pics to gamers that say things like 'stop running your mouth' or 'xxx adult gamer' 'I suffer from rage' seems like a really terrible idea...
Yeah that's a bad idea.><
there is even one for 'I love girl gamers' which just seems odd
do you not love girl gamers?;)
Finally killed them mexicans last night. howitzered them to death then mopped them up with infantry.
Also rangers are awesome against indians.
Either good, or creepy depending how it done. So probably creepy. Also need to move on from teh 'girl gamer' thing. Gamers are gamers, some of them are women and some of them are girls.
yes but honestly I would be wary of anyone who declared they did with an avatar. it seems like a nice enough sentiment but then I imagine how gamers might say it and it becomes creepy...
and the 'xxx adult gamer' one is just all kinds of wrong.
It just means he's sat in his boxers scratching his balls between lives :D
I think I just threw up a little bit
XD

ok that is just mean, Game have sent me a Wii U starter pack (extra stylus, slip case, and a screen protector) in the post with nothing else.
Trollolololololololol
The wii u might turn up by courier?
I suspect it has been sent royal mail this time. previous order I got a confirmation text from the courier to say it was on its way, whereas I haven't this time. it is a god thing though, because the couriers don't do next day delivery to the island (so it couldn't arrive today anyway) and don't deliver at the weekend. whereas if it has gone royal mail it could come tomorrow. the problem is that in the email I got confirming the previous order was cancelled, and the new order issued, the replacement order is not the same as the original. so I am now trying to chase up the two missing items.
You know amazon delivered the one I got the wench for her birthday correctly first time on time gift wrapped...
thanks for sharing.
Just helping :D
Seriously though, do you still work for game?
I still work there yeah.
You'd think they'd get your order right then wouldn't you?
well I didn't tell them that, I have kept my customer side separate to my work side. they should get it right regardless.
True they should.
I'd assumed you'd bought from game to get your discount.
TBH they never got it right when I bought my 3ds...
Is it just down to living in the IoM?
I bought the first preowned one from the store I work in to use my discount. when it turned out to be faulty I got a refund on to a gift card whilst waiting for a replacement. when the replacement turned out to be the wrong one I decided to use the gift card on the website instead of waiting for someone to get round to sending one to the store.
ah. you managed to sort it yet?
no replies as yet no. It seems like the wii remotes that I ordered two of have gone up in price since the original order, so I suspect somebody has decided that the replacement needs to match the amount I spent, rather than what I actually ordered. waiting for them to get back to me though.
Thats off as it should match the price on the purchase date
yeah I will be chasing it up anyway. if the emails let me down today then I will phone them up, I can get the staff customer service number from the store and start chasing them directly.

That mini N64 is seriously impressive work.
yep.
but who has vacuum formers laying around?
Forgot to mention, launched my invasion of mohghul india last night. they have about twelve regions in the northwest, only the ones bordering me have any real development. We'd previously been allied from my initial invasion of India in about 1706.
Only played the first turn of the invasion so far, put six territories to siege initially. three surrendered straight away. I've got enough armies to take each individually so see what happens when I end the turn :D

Next gen looks so real.
Lol.:)
I know this is totally low-tech and completely behind the curve... but does anyone else here play FTL? I was introduced to this fun, but brutally addictive ******* of a game last night by a so-called "friend" and now I can't stop playing it. Anyone got any pointers?
Since we like city building games.

Gameplay:
1849 is a city management game set during the California Gold Rush. Your task is to build towns, populate them with workers, and make sure that they are housed, fed, and entertained. You’ll have to manage and coordinate extensive production and trade networks to make sure your towns thrive.
This Early Access build of 1849 is only available for PC and Mac desktops, but it will be available for iPad and Android tablets at launch.
Key Features of 1849:

- Over 50 resources that players can dig up, farm, refine or manufacture as they build complex towns and cities.
- Classic city management simulation tailored and built specifically to be just as enjoyable on a tablet as it is on a PC.
- Developed by SomaSim, a new studio dedicated to producing deep simulation games for today’s players.

Needs more wimmins.
Maybe they will come later for the saloon?
It looks a lot like Pharoah, if you ever played that.
