About LLasley

Biography:

I'm junior majoring within English at Cuyahoga Express.
She is collection to graduate throughout 2015 and hope to also complete a
small in Creative Creating.
When asked in what first drew the woman to prose, she said she loved having the ability to escape into the
worlds she designed. She also reported by her grandmother, Minnie Phillips, united of her important writing influences:
_My grandma always wanted being an writer.
She finished the woman's first manuscript whilst she was with child with my mum,
and publishers during those times wouldn_t even give her the period.
Some of her buddies suggested she release under
a men's pen name, but she wouldn_t resign yourself. She felt the woman's manuscript was a piece of
her soul, and she desired her readers to recognise the woman behind the word what.
_ Kate said this is just what inspired her to help pursue writing like a career, and she hopes to
check out in her grandmother_s footsteps and something day become the published novelist.


When she isn_t looking to finish her school work or her latest part of prose, Kate volunteers
just as one adult literacy teacher, teaching
beginning-level examining and spelling to students at the community center.
You can also find her leading this English Department_s Writers Workshops, which
occur every Wednesday on 7 pm in Davis Hall.
