My Tzeentch Daemon Prince.

I magnetized the wings so that they can be replaced. Looks better with them, but a bit too expensive in the Daemons book.

There are 99 faces on the model (wings included) as a tribute to Tzeentch's sacred number of 9.

Truly impresive. Glad to see a deviation from the standard vulture prince.

Hey man! Ive been following your progress on your demon army and I gotta say its all looking pretty damn good. And i love me some tzeentchy goodness, so I thought id leave my comments and criticisms here for ya.

I really like where you've gone with this model, a true departure from just a regular demon prince with pink and blue on him. The 99 faces is truly awesome and the wings look great. The base you've built for him is pretty cool too.

Ok, now on to criticisms. And im not trying to belittle your work here because you've certainly got talent. Im merely expressing my take on the model. I feel like the giant mouth, where the two heads are coming out of, is a little too open. On the horror models (you know...the good ones. Not the crap plastic ones) the bodies popping out of the mouths are STRAINING to get through, and the skin is being stretched around them. To me, the big mouth looks like it has too much negative space going on. Also, if it were shrunken down a bit, and brought in tighter together, i think it wouldnt distract the eye away from those awesome wings as much ;-)

In the second picture, you've got what looks like two arms on his left side and one on his right. Now, im all for some good old fashioned asymetrical freaky weirdness (go tzeentch!), but i feel like the armored arm with the shoulderpad should be the arm on the top, with the smaller un-armoured arm on the bottom. Its really just the big ol' honkin shoulder pad that makes me go "wait...whats going on there?". However, this could possibly be just a trick of the camera angle.

Overall though, that is definitely, unmistakeably, tzeentch. Great job man, keep up the good work!

Thanks for the comment, you're exactly right as to what I was going for and my first version was a little too frog-like for my liking. My solution is teeth, lots of teeth ( mostly from leftover carnifex heads).
I'm less worried about your second point as that can be solved by changing the angle or which magnet it's attached to. It's really only there to avoid WYSIWYG arguments when I don't want to pay the points for wings in my daemons army (which is always because they cost so much at 60pts).

Looks awesomely weird and creepy. It totally puts my tzeentian daemon prince conversion to shame. I envy your greenstuff skills.

Couldn't be bothered with a separate thread for these guys.

This is my changeling conversion. I thought that the staff was a bit too fantasy so I replaced it with extra arms from my old horrors. 9 in total in keeping with the sacred number of tzeentch. Flamers remain probably my favourite daemon models.

Wow man! really diggin that changling conversion...I never really though about extra arms being such an effective bit for a conversion. Thats good too, because ive got about 5-6 of those extra arms laying around...hmmm...

Oh yeah, and flamers are probably my favorite demon model too! Ive got nine in the works right now...

Since you fancy yourself a tzeentch man, check out my magnus the red. lemme know what you think!

Holy MOLY, that DP is great. I've especially impressed with the texture/face work on the wings.

I'm starting to think the great thing about the new plastic DP isnt the default kit, but its overall scale and plastic options are going to allow converters to use all kinds of great bitz from Defilers/Soulgrinders, Sentinels, Dreads, etc... along with greenstuff to make some really amazing pieces.

I like the wings and that strange looking weapon, and I love the base.

The massive nipple-horns obscure the face though, so I can't comment on that.

Dammit....everyone comments on the damn nipple horns! *shakes fist!...then sighs*

Yeah, they do get in the way of the face. I considered not putting them on in the first place, but its a very iconic magnus thing.

Very nice demom. "Sgt I've emptied every mag i had into this demon and did not bring this Demon down, what do you want to do?" great work on him.

Impressive GS skills, I particularly like the work on the wings. The teeth also work wonders, funny how tiny details like that can change the whole look of a model.
