Preparing for BoLScon 2009

How are your armies coming, folks? With BoLScon just around the corner are your armies ready? Or like me, do you have what seems like a thouand things to do. So far, here is what I have left to do:


1. Paint 2 Chimera chassis
2. Paint and base a Heavy Weapon Squad
3. Paint and base a Vet Squad and convert an upgrade character
4. Paint and base 2 snipers
5. Various touch ups, details, and repairs to existing models
6. Do a display board
7. Paint and base an HQ model

So, that is 2 vehicle, 22 models, a display board, and various touch ups and repairs.........in less than a week. This should be fun. Nothing like procastination to add a little spice to life.:rolleyes:

I've got to finish:

Seven terminators
Two tactical marines
A dred
Two servitors
And I need to do a bit of touch up on my Legion Felblade.

I've painted almost 2000 points in just over a week or so, so hopefully I'll be done. I'm the ultimate slacker. Mind you, this is all a very basic three color paint job except for a few particular models (Like my scratch built Hestan). As time permits I'll do a bit more detail work up until Wednesday of next week.

Display board?! Crap, I guess I need to reread the painting competition guidelines. Though, doing a Tyranid display board is easy. I'll just spread a bunch of hamburger on a board :)


EDIT: ya a display board is worth up to 2 points. So I'm off the store to buy some ground beef.

It's not required. I think it will be easier to deal with than juggling various foam trays and boxes.

Paint 3 arbite supression platforms

paint 3 arbite bikes

paint 5 rogue trader bodyguards

build and paint 3 Knight Paladins

Build and paint 'the General Lee' for the podracing :D

The Knights are going to be a pain, but other than that im about done.

Man, I'm glad it's not just me.

I'm down to just purchasing and painting a Falcon though, so I'm probably pretty lucky.
