hello

over the summer i have been building a 40k game board and have now decided to make some terrain for it

sadly i have a problem! i purchased some foamcore from an art store (queen street) and tried to build a bunker from the 4rth ed rule book however i have a problem: it dosnt cut diagonaly.

arfter some peering at the book i see that the stuff they use is like a block of foam that they cut( and is called foamboard), mine is paper with WEAK foam in the middle? however wikepedia says foamcore/board are THE SAME THING????:confused:

so can some one explain if they are or if not , and if they are could you suggest a sutiable alternitive (high density polystyrene????)

also if you could say where to buty it from that would help :D (in the uk)

thankyou

Foamboard and Foam are not the same mate, not matter what wiki says - lol

Foamboard is great for buildings with right angled corners but as you've found out, it's not that good when you need pieces joining at strange angles. You can to a rough fit and then fill the gaps with filler.

Alternatively, get your hands on some pink/blue insulation foam and use that instead. You can get all sorts of modelling stuff from http://www.antenocitisworkshop.com

Hope that helps.
