I completed this Slaanesh Daemon Prince conversion (http://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/126516-Slaanesh%20Daemon%20Prince.html?m=2) this evening. Painting will begin soon.

And for those wondering how I got this done tonight, GW shipped my Advance Order on Tuesday via FedEx ground and it showed up nice and early this morning. Now that's service I can recommend!

I like the Trygon tail, very Slaanesh. The GW daemon prince kit may be a bit generic but it provides some good bits for conversions.

My personal preference would be to use the Trygon's tail claw over the spawn claw.

Very nice! I forgot that you end up with a lot of extra Trygon bits that are pretty useful with a DP kit...

Very cool conversion, but I have come to expect nothing less from when I saw your first brass scorpion. I beat you have some great bits left over... One reason I love conversion is the left over bits.

Thanks, everyone. The Trygon tail was actually an eBay bits purchase for $7. I didn't want to cannibalize an expensive Trygon model just for this, I already spend too much on this hobby! And I wanted my Trygons as Trygons, it's a cool kit on its own. The other bits were indeed leftovers from a Tide Of Spawn box set I bought a few years ago and the many Defiler kits I've used for Brass Scorpion and Defiler building. Of course now I have a lot of unused bits from the new Daemon Prince kit I can put into another project down the road.

brilliant, reminds me of the old clash of the titans, not the new one - which is crap.

Thanks. I began painting this model on Friday and should be done within a few days. I'll post a picture when painting is complete, assuming it turns out okay.
