im new to converting models, i plan on fielding a wolf lord in terminator armor with a chainfist/storm shield. what i want is a model holding a hammer. so is there a way to convert a thunder hammer to put some kind of chain blade on it? help please

It's a fairly simple conversion. If you want a nasty double-bladed chainhackerofdoom, cut the top off the TH. Then, attach two chainswords back-to-back (you may have to file off some stuff to get them to fit right), and cut off the hilts. Once that's done, attach the chainswords to the now headless TH and you've got a fairly nasty looking chain-halberd.

Not quite a hammer, but definitely gets the "chainfist/SS" thing across.

or you could have a MASSIVE erviscator

or maby just a TH but with hammer heads cut off replaced with chain blades (pick axe ?)

OR

cut off the fron hammer head nad put a circular saw in its place (like most ork nobz :D)

How about replacing the face of the Th with a rock drill. The tricone design with sharp teeth should work well.
