Fast skimmers?

When assaulting a fast skimmer that moved 12 inchs in its last turn do i need 4's or 6's to hit it? I ask cause i played an eldar player that insited that i needed 4's and i thought i needed 6's. That argument didnt last to long :p.

You need 6's to hit, like any vehicle that moved 12". It doesn't become easier to hit just because it's fast :)

12 inches of movement is still Cruising Speed, even for a Fast vehicle. Some people think that the distances for movement speeds changes for Fast vehicles, when it doesn't actually do so. This leads then to think that Combat Speed is up to 12 inches, Crusing Speed it 12-18 inches, and Flat Out is 18+ inches. The rules for vehicle movement pretty clearly explains the distances for normal vehicle movement and the additional speed (Flat Out) that Fast vehicles have.
