This is not a question of "style" this is a question of "legal". We talk more about this subject on our podcast. Life After the Cover Save can be downloaded on iTunes. Or you can check us out on our blog. lifeafterthecoversave.wordpress.com.

"Ow my eyes!"
I'm sorry but theres just no excuse for that, proxying fine, 'counts as' fine - they would of been a far better way of getting whatever that is supposed to be, this, this is taking the piss and then running a marathon with it.

I like it. Very orky. As a former Ork player, I would applaud that man. Then promptly laugh my arse off

I'd play against it. And it would be hilarious.
Besides, you know orks would do that if they could find duct tape that big.

They'd make a weapon out of it.

in 2ed it was normal to see ork models ducktaped to the transport , they even had rules for it.

You don't really need to be an ork to make weapons out of duct tape.
http://www.ehow.com/how_2090278_make-weapon-out-duct-tape.html
You just need to be a teenager going through the "tough guy" stage of puberty. You know, that stage where every young boy believes himself to be John Rambo while having no practical knowledge of actual fighting skills, weapon-making techniques or basic combat physics.
The only difference is that orks could make duct tape weapons work because that's how they roll. I recall one source saying that when taken apart, many ork sluggas turned out to be little more than a jumble of loose parts.

Yes, that's what the Imperium thinks, but keep in mind the Imperium has a loose grasp on technology anyway.

Duct tape is like the force.
It has a dark side, a light side and it binds the universe together.
That, however, is an abomination unto gaming (much like 6mm - unless you like playing with counters, which is worse).
It should be purified with flame - and so should the perpetrators. Looks like it was cobbled together by a blind, one armed, semi-evolved simian with a bad case of palsy (or one of the kids in my club). If it was played against me - he'd probably get a win due to forfeit (I'd be in the loo trying to scrub my eyeballs with bleach. Things seen cannot be unseen.)
Orks: Making crap modellers feel better about themselves.

You sure that article relates to a time in your youth or more to time spent in prison?!?
Regarding the tank, I'm normally pretty chill with silly proxies and stuff but I don't think I would be with this. It doesn't strike me as something someone but time and effort into because it would be funny any neat, but rather someone said "oh crap I need a bajillion deffrolla battle wagons! I'll take this devil fish and hit wal mart on my way to 'Ard Boyz!"

Sir, you insult every modeler and things that actually look orky, with your statement.
