Robots for SM

Need info,my army of SM.CSM.IG is about 20,000pts strong with my knights & robots. Has any one used robots?need to know how they work in the new Ed. So I can play my first 40k game.thanks.

If my memory serves me, they had 'programming' that determined their behavior and points cost. (the robots)

Robots weren't part of the Astartes though, they were AdMech with the Legio Cybernetica.
