So in like 5 months, I will be attending a fairly large GT in Las Vegas, and I am attempting to get stuff in gear. I haven't really played much 5th edition - mostly my games have been Warmachine lately - but this seems to be a good way to revisit my beloved Orks and ramp them up and get them all "updated" and such.
Tactics are going to be pretty straightforward
--Shoota Boyz and Lootas will hang back and sit on objectives/shoot stuff
--Battlewagons will be loaded with boyz/characters, and surge forward, trying to ram stuff and deliver their melee payload
--Buggies will skirmish around and try to blow up stuff
--Deff Dredd will run behind the wall of Battlewagons and wil hopefully be a late-game melee threat
My only concern is that I couldn't find room to include my typical Nobz mob, which I have in the past, never left home without. I am hoping the Ard Boyz will be able to compensate and fill that role. Anyhow, let me know what you think!
