2 Units, 1 Transport

You are allowed to have two units deploy and embark 1 transport, so long as they don't max out past the model capacity limit, or am I wrong? Thanks in advance.

you are only allowed 1 unit in a transport, but can attach any number of independent characters (up to the transport capacity of the vehicle obviously).

The only exceptions to this is super heavy transports and those that specificly state in their special rules/unit entry that they can carry more, such as the Storm Raven (and even then that is only 1 unit plus independent characters AND/OR a dreadnought, rather than multiple units up to 12 models)

In a standard game, you would be wrong. The Transport rules clearly address this. Super-Heavy Transports have a rule that allows them to ignore the standard restriction.
