I went looking in my IG and GK codicies and found that you could possibly mount Grey Knights in a valk. a valk is not a dedicated transport, therefore if you include GK in an IG army, you could have marines in a valk. Really odd in my opinion as guardsmen are smaller than marines so you would assume that either the marines would not fit or the valk would hold less of them.

Any rules I'm missing?

The Imp Guard FAQ specifically states, you can not put Grey Knight Termies in a Valk. So "regular" Grey knights are OK.

Well, while I'm pretty sure you can carry as many marines as guardsmen (don't have codex on me) you could assume that when guardsmen are in one, they have some extra space for gear but when marines get transported they just take up that extra space... Only if ur trying to rationalize it but w/e
