Kill Team Piranha drones

How do the drones on a Piranha operate in Kill Team?

Would they individually count as models from the Break the Enemy rule? (Ld test when team falls bellow 50%)

Can they be specialists?




If you are playing with the additional campaign rules... do you roll for the drones if they are casualties?

Can they roll to augment a trait if the survive a mission?

I'm winging it here so anyone can shout me down on this.

But my understanding is that drones of any sort belong to the units that are fielded. They don't appear independently. So I would not think they count as casualties in a break test because they in fact prevent casualties, such as the loss of the Piranha. If the Piranha goes they are lost also.

They would not be specialists as they are operated by the specialists, such as the Sniper team so I would think it was the sniper that gets the augmented traits not the drone
