To be blunt I will agree with you on the painting, its not bad though. On the other hand you're modelling skills are great, absolutely love the concept-great wings.

If these don't make the competition cut, I'd hate to see your stuff that does - I like it. Yeah the details are a bit muddy I guess but the overall feel is there, really nice pieces
