I got a couple of dreads and could field both with supporting kanz. The kanz can swap in rokkits or big shootaz and I like this kind of set up because of the shield and grot ballistic skill. I don't have a Mek Dread but do have a mek in mega armour and eavy armour. This would be reasonably close to 1000 I think. I just have not gamed orks in a frogs age.
