As for the rules? As it uses the Apocalyptic Mega-Blast, I'd suggest working your way up through the blast templates...Baby Bear (small blast)....Mummy Bear (pie plate] DADDY BEAR....

Pretty handy for obliterating massive sections of the board - just a shame it doesn't do much about Cover.

And for those who bought a Supremacy Suit earlier, it is of course available separately (https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-GB/KX139-Nexus-Meteor). Or you just stick it on some scenery. I dunno. It's your game!

just a shame it doesn't do much about Cover.

You've clearly forgotten what army this thing belongs to. :P

I have indeed! Though given it's sheer pieplateitude, you're gonna need a pooload (that's an official measurement by the way) of Marker Lights to blat everything this is gonna hit!

Nope. Just two on the targeted unit, then the model's weapons gain Ignores Cover. It doesn't ignore the cover of the target unit, the weapon just gets it.

Them's the rules man. IIRC it was clarified in the FAQ.

I'd have to play the game to be beardy.

Also I am warming to the idea of mounting one of these on the back of a Wyvern chassis to have a Gue'vesa Manticore...

looks good, I prefer the multi driver of the two though. the other variant we saw at the open day however...

It's got the benefit of being either, really, though I hope the Deathstrike gets D in the new Codex, even if it costs a bit. If anything deserves D strength, it's a bleedin' ICBM with a nuclear warhead on it. :P

It's just that this happens to have exactly four missiles, and thus is a convenient Manticore. I like the idea of having it mounted on the traversable rear base the Wyvern chassis has as well. :)
