"Howdy Guys and Girls - this week is all about the General's Handbook and the Bonespitta battletome/reboxing (similiar to the Flesh Eaters)"

hrm, not into the faction myself but I think they should get at least 1 new kit imo.

Awesome, been looking forward to my armies Battletome. Shame that apparently all we're getting is reboxing the existing kits though. Hopefully we'll get a Start Collecting Box. I was hoping for something like a plastic Rogue Idol (as FW no longer make their resin one) or a bloody big Rhinoceros type beastie with side howdahs as our centerpiece. Ohh well.

Agreed, it is a shame - my inner-communist wants equal distribution of plastic crack :P A rogue idol would of been pretty cool. They already have heroes (depsite being finecast), basic troops and cavalry so I do think they should of got a centrepiece model at the least and I did not know that FW stopped production of the resin one either.

EDIT - seems I am mistaken about heroes being finecast, didn't know the orruk warboss was plastic ( https://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Savage-Orruk-Warboss ) So yeah, really only needed a centrepiece..

I really like the reimagining background wise for the Flesh Eaters so I've got high hopes for this one on a fluff level. I'd like to see a Rogue Idol as their centrepiece model.

warseer user Ad_Hoc_Games says "The next release is the Handbook, a new mini-starter set, some small sets of clip together miniatures, repackaged Bonesplitterz and a Bonesplitta battletome.

I am curious about this mini starter and small sets, I'd assuming they most likely to be derived from the AoS starter set but would be cool to see something new.

"There will also be a new mini starter set this week, with rules, 4 battle plans, 3 Bloodwarriors, 5 Bloodreavers, 2 Retributors and 3 Liberators.

There will also be some small snap fits sets for 10 pounds each."

That's from Ad_hoc_games, he doesn't know whats in the snap fit sets yet (or at least didn't when I asked him, I know him IRL, he gets his info from his GW trade rep as he runs a shop)

I'm going to be comparing the prices on these repackaged models, and what's in the kits. It sounds like they're taking the chance to significantly boost the price on the range, showing that where WFB's business model was "make it so people have to buy a ton of models," the new model is "They can play with a few, but we'll make them pay through the nose for those few." Like they just don't learn... which is why sales are flat despite all they're throwing at AoS.

Oh well... I'll likely check out the book, at least, because I have a ton of Savage Orcs already anyway.
