Angron, Daemon Primarch of the World Eaters

I've decided I want to build a First War of Armageddon themed army of World Eaters and would love to have Angron as the center piece to it. I'm at a bit of a loss for what I should use to build him though... Going the Daemon Prince/Blood Thirster route is tempting, but seems a little bland as well. I'm also a bit in the dark on as to how big he should be. As he can take a retinue of Blood Thirsters I feel he should at least be bigger than them.
Would a Daemon Prince/Balrog kitbash be appropriate you think?

I know I'll have to do some plasticarding, greenstuffing and guitar wiring to pull it off. I also have a collar of Khorne to throw in his neck.

I think such a kit could work. Also, these two websites: http://www.ultraforgeminiatures.com/demon-lords.html and http://arena-deathmatch.com/onlineshop/onlineshop.php may have some interesting bits you can use. I know that smaller model makers can sometimes be flexible, and you could maybe buy single bits instead of whole models.

A few years back my local GW store wouldn't let me use a Ringwraith I'd converted into a radical Inquisitor.

Yhea there was giant contract GW signed with the right holders of LoTR that prevented that(or suggested to not do it). Apparently in the last year something has changed in the legal arena.

I think I'll settle with a Balrog and plasticard/greenstuff some armor onto it. Buy some small chainmail patches, cut 'em up and drape 'em around bits, wire the head and attach a collar. Scratch build Gorefather and it'd be more or less set.

Later on when I get my disability settlements from the Corps I'll buckle down and upgrade to the forgeworld model with a nice retinue of Bloodthirsters. :D
