Ard boys mission question

So on the first mission it says that players roll off for table edge, and then whoever wins gets to select their table edge and takes first turn.

In normal missions players roll off for first turn, and whoever has first turn chooses their deployment zone.

So this means on the first mission a liber heresius would work but a emperors tarot would not?

That would probably be determined by the judges if it's unclear. As I recall, Emperor's Tarot doesn't mesh 100% with 5th ed deployment rules in the first place.

Hmmm not sure.... definitely needs a judge ruling...


but I think it won't be to much of a problem for any other mission.
