So I am not looking for any army lists or anything but a general sense of what armies people are planning to take to the 40K tournament. I have been considering Blood Angels as that is my current project but I am a bit concerned about being the 45th player taking blood angels and I could bring my Eldar or Space Wolves as well. Any one else know what army they plan on taking?

I am playing in the narrative event.
I'll most likely be bringing a Kroot Mercenary force.

I’m playing in the Narrative also. Finishing the last bit of my Red Scorpions.

Buahahahaha... But wait... Don't the IA books fail to mention the Necrons in any major "campaigns"?

*cough*cough*cough* Hmmm?
It doesn't matter if the IA books don't mention your faction. It's 40k! There is always a way to work in a faction and let someone play.
Honestly, if you get a chance to attend and play the narrative track, you won't regret it. I did it last year, and it was a blast a three-quarters.

Hm. I hope I can play the narrative. I live in Texas, so it's not gonna be hard to actually go.

Elysians for me in the narratives...in fact BoLSCon is a huge driver for me to complete the army I purchased (mostly) in 2006. I am hoping I get to play the IA8 list vs. IG Codex, but have been playtesting IG to date.
Not the best of both worlds.
However, the narrative tracks last year were an absolute blast. We had a great time with lots of similarly minded players (i.e. laid back vets) and it was one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had.
I highly recommend them.

I will be playing a Tau army in the main tourney.
Unsure What I want to play in the Narrative games. Have not seen a firm point cost or requirement. Local players are saying it's Apoc. army lists but they seem to be making balanced standard 40k lists.
Tempting to do a 3000 pt Apoc. Eldar list, all on foot, 10-15 models. Not very balanced or survivable but a hige fire magnet for a turn or two. This also helps me since I only need one force for the Narrative games and the BA vs. Eldar Apoc. game.
I will probably bring the Deathstalker (prism cannon) and Doom Weaver models as well.

Narrative is up to 3000 points, Apoc-enabled. Since we balance the forces, you can bring 1000 or 3000, or anything in between (and if you bring more, you might end up using that as well).
Thanks.
One reason for my force selection is I take forever to paint an army. I have Beakies, purchased new, unpainted. I think I can paint six large models in two months though.
May bring my Armorcast Reaver as well.

May bring my Armorcast Reaver as well.Do it!
Looks like I have to bring two titans (Reaver, Phantom), an eldar towering destroyer Knight, Tempest grav tank, Epicast prototype prism cannon and night spinner a 6-8 wraithlords (old metal) and about the same number of war walkers. A few regular minis might be nice as well. Should be some good fire support for the Eldar vs BA game.

As far as exceeding the allotted points for the narrative tracks, are you suggesting that "if" we have more to go ahead and bring it and it might be used?
I'm still planning on bringing Elysians and I don't think there will be a ton of those around, though I could be wrong.
Thanx!

Bring it and you might use it; leave it at home and you certainly won't.
