Anvil Industry have a frankly absurd number of new bits for heroic-scaled, Imperial Guard-style miniatures. (http://anvilindustry.co.uk/Regiments/Regiments-Range-Guide)

And they're literally better than any Astra Militarum infantry models GW is producing at the moment.

I don't like the left hand one. But the right hand one is a nice model.

I'm torn.

I like the main sculpts, really quite nice (though still not as nice as Solar Auxilia).

But there's something about the guns. I really don't know what it is exactly, but they look somehow amatuerish. As if those bits were done by a trainee as a side project?

the guns that are like lasguns, only massively more detailed and better done? :P

The lasgun clone is pretty nice. The conventional firearm is a bit meh.

I did say I can't really explain it :p

At least both guns look better than that monstrosity on the Exo-Lord.

Left model does look kind of odd, don't know if it's the helmet, the chest or both. Right one is reall cool.

I've bought Anvil before, and they make great stuff. Really liking the look of these guys, if I still played 40K I'd be buying them. :)

I actually really like the firearms, especially the lasgun. The new range just looks generally great. Also, funny you should mention Solar Auxilia, because wave 2 coming in the summer is intended to contain parts for a void suit...
