Alright, I got a bit of a tricky one here...

In the Black Templar's book Chaplain Grimaldus' "Only in Death Does Duty End" rule states:

"Once G has lost all of his wounds do not remove him from play. Instead, take a ld test and if this is passed , G fights on with 1 wound remaining. If he loses this wound remove him from the table."

Does this imply that Grimaldus is entitled to take the ld test to prevent death each time he loses his last wound or only the first time?

The part where it says "If he loses this wound" makes me think that it may only function once. However the part earlier on where it says once G has lost all of his wounds DO NOT REMOVE HIM from play..... makes me think it functions multiple times...

Ideas?

"If he loses this wound remove him from the table."

He is out of the game.

It seems fairly self-explanatory.

The first time he loses his last wound, make a leadership check.
If he passes, he regains one wound.
If he subsequently loses that wound, he his removed from play.

It's actually very clearly written. There's not really any ambiguity there.

Just wishful thinking :)
