Yup.
Just commented on the linked article, and Lady Atia is suggesting it'll be playable at Warhammerfest.

Cool, nothing I don't already have except some new battalions (and scenarios, but the only person around who plays scenarios insists he'll never play AoS), so I can save money and recover until I eventually stab my bank account brutally again playing catch-up on DW:OK and Discount Knight Boogaloo boxes. Still will file away for "if I ever get rich" because I have a Strigoi Vampire or two, a load of metal and plastic Ghouls, nine Crypt Horrors, and some Terrorgheists. None of the flying guys yet, but they weren't really gripping me as much before.
As for the mystery of MM, he's also noted where he's commented on BB's FB page before, so it's easy to spot the name and face there, too. But a man's face and name isn't his only mystery (assuming that they are indeed a man's face and name).

preorders up on the new zealand site

the interesting thing is how they've split these older kits and made new units from them! I kinda find that cool. The terrorgeiest kit and the Vargheists kit make 5 units each, giving the army 12 units in total by the looks of it. Ill be curious to see if they do this again with other factions. Shame they didn't get anything new though, a cavalry unit and hero clampacks wouldnt of gone amiss.

I'd like to see someone do an army based on HP Lovecrafts Pickmans model story.

looks like quite a cool army really. I think with the right colour scheme they would look really sinister

I always thought Ghouls should be their own army so I'm actually pretty happy to see it happen. Pale skin tones and lots of blood for the blood god paint would look awesome. I like the concept of them as a mockery of royal courts and such. Quite an imaginative reworking of the Ghoul range actually.
If only they had ghouls riding on giant leeches though. They really need that.
I will probably wait for "Night Haunt" though and hope they expand on the floaty swirly ghost goodness.

I always wanted to see separate undead lists for each type back in WFB. Ghoul armies, ghost armies, skellington armies and then VC bringing them altogether. Glad we're getting that now in AoS.

Me too, I find it far more interesting and if this is a sign of things to come, it's cool to see each undead race get their own unique culture and civilizations too.
they managed to squeeze out a lot of units from those kits

I haven't gotten around to doing the Ghouls yet, but even during WFB my plan was to paint the Strigoi vamps (Ghoul Kings?), Crypt Horrors/etc., Terrorgheists, and Ghouls the same, with a color scheme that's dark blue, with, IIRC, Hawk Turquoise brushed over it, dark blue shade, then pick out the bone stuff in bone (with some black claws). Toss on Blood for the Blood God as desired for splatter. It's not a "typical" paint scheme but it looks pretty cool.
I think darker schemes look really neat with these guys.

Also, kudos to them for not making the rules for the Crypt Flayers nastier than the existing units, so they're not a "must-have" even for people with units of the others. It's just a new option.
