Latest murmurs say:
Skaven (November)
Beasts of Chaos (Q1-2 2010)
Lots of new plastic beasties are a coming, and the return of the DoomWheel....

These rumors are killing me as both are armies I considered buying when I started playing tabletop Warhammer and I can feel the collector madness increasing in my bones.

Give in to your urges! Go on an Ebay spree and collect all you can!
Your geeky soul will thank you. Your wallet...not so much. :)

I've always loved Skaven. But are they enough to drag me screaming back into playing Fantasy once again?
Hmmm...

Don't even try to resist Darkseer!
The Doomwheel is returning, and what could possibly irritate those serious Fantasy generals across the tabletop from you more than having their carefully crafted tactics and minis destroyed by a giant wooden warp-stone enhanced hamster-ball?
What's not to love?

There's lots to love. I think I just love 40K that little bit more :)

There is some other exciting stuff to look forward to between these two releases.
I think folks are going to find it hard to resist the lovesome ratmen. :D

I cant wait to see what they do with the doom weel model. It is the hope that they bring back The Verminlord. If they did I would start a Skaven army.

I've just been quietly picking up boxes of Beast Herds lately with my tournament winnings, waiting and looking forward to the new Beasts book.

Pft 40k generals are the stodgy ones, in the grim dark future of the black dark grim blackness of the deepest black, there is only war.

Just started a new beast army. Immediately realized that the rules are.....well....rubbish. But I knew that already. Didn't expected to be this bad...so can't wait for the new book!

Good to hear Harry - I like the fact that teh internetz are not full of info about the next years worth of releases...actual surprises (a la Mystery Box release in Aug/Sep) are quite a novel concept!

I just finished 60 clanrats a few months ago. To be honest I hope new clanrats get released. Skaven clanrats just don't look as awesome as some armies basic troops.
I'm surprised no pictures have been leaked of the rats yet. Maybe we'll all be surpirsed and see the new rats on release day?

I'm so hoping for new Clanrats. If there won't be any new i don't think i will play them if they stay this ugly.

If Beasts get some decent rules, I'll more than likely start them as an army. I love their models, but not enough to try putting a force together with the current state of their rules.

beasts of chaos can still punk people. especially VC. your khorne mark still grants +1 power dice. you can ride in with 18 chariots, having 8 come in from behint the army and have 20 dispel dice. try casting through THAT, stupid jerks.
(i know, that list owuld be horrible against VC. It's hypothetical. )

Should be interesting to see if the beastmen get their own version of the chaos lores.
