The first Forgeworld release specifically for Age of Sigmar, and it's a beaut! (http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-GB/Skaarac-the-Bloodborn)

And for scale?

A creature of endless hate and unstoppable savagery, Skaarac the Bloodborn is a beast of venerated legend among the devoted of Khorne. He is said by some to be a fallen Daemon, others claim he is no more than a mindless beast of prodigious power while some claim he is a rogue experiment of the terrible arts of the Zharr, and others yet name him as the oldest and most powerful of the Khorgoraths; a murderous plaything mutilated into being by Khorne’s own hand. Regardless, Skaarac has rampaged across the battlefields of the mortal realms for uncounted ages, and countless lives have been ended by his savagery, and yet it is not enough.

Skaarac the Bloodborn, Great Khorgorath of Khorne is a fantastically detailed model. In combat he slashes apart his enemies with the brutal blades embedded into his arms and tramples their broken bodies beneath his hooves. Those who would flee beyond his reach, he can destroy by vomiting forth a torrent of unhallowed blood as hot as molten iron.

Skaarac the Bloodborn’s warscroll is available to download to use him in games of Warhammer Age of Sigmar. This model would also make an exceptionally brutal Bloodthirster or other Daemon of Khorne in games of Warhammer 40,000.

This is a complete, multi-part resin kits. It includes a 160mm round base.

£140.00 all in. Not cheap, but he is on the massive side :)

Rules are here. Nasty. Very, very nasty. (http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/resources/fw_site/fw_pdfs/aos_warscrolls/warhammer-aos-skaarac.pdf)

If only all Khorgoraths look like this. I know it being more Khorne may bring a few groans but that's a beautiful model to get Warhammer Forge going again.

Makes for a better Skarbrand than Skarbrand does.

Wouldn't need much conversion at all.

Better looking Khorgorath... but why are they pushing that awful "skulls-under-the-skin" thing with Forge World models? The model looks absolutely amazing... and then I see that one thing MUST be covered over with green stuff to keep it from trashing an otherwise brilliant model.

Can we find out who started that trend and declared it must be a part of Chaos now? I want to go introduce him to a few solid objects. It's a stupid idea that does not say "Chaos" to anyone, it just breaks up nice models like Archaon's mount and this guy with something goofy and unnecessary.

Meh.

In other news, looks like he's a rejig of the intended K'Daai Destroyer...

Not letting all that work go to waste. That's a good move.

I know it's not fair to compare a WIP to a finished product, but I think they did the right thing.

Silly gob guard on the K'Daai. And you can still totes use it as a K'Daai Destroyer anyways.

What I want to know is when are FW/WF getting round to doing Warscrolls for the gribblies in my collection, eh?

It they don't sell them any more, likely never. But heck, it's a game where you have to define a lot of stuff with your opponent's consent anyway, why not just make up your own warscroll for them? Or you could do a "counts as" and use something else.
