Afternoon all.

Got some old White Dwarfs via Scribd, and I've been looking with nostalgic eyes at the (really) old terrain making articles.

Especially the one in White Dwarf 133. Not only was it the first WD I ever read, ever...but it had a really interesting article about how to make Warhammer Fences, Walls and Hedges.

With my typical alacrity, I've been wanting to have a go at those since I first read the article all those dim and distant years ago (before the Internets, yeah?) but never actually got on with it.

Now I have a gaming room, this is all going to change.

I was wondering if there's a trove of simplistic, well written and with good pictures terrain building articles online - ideally stuff similar to the article above, written by Dave Andrews and Phil Lewis.

Anything that can allow someone to learn different techniques, project by project, with further more advanced projects to use the skills learned in the previous ones?

If not, just bung the links onto this thread, and see if we can't make this to go-to 'getting started' terrain modelling destination thread.

It doesn't follow your progression of difficulty, but 18Charlie (http://18charlie.com/?v=6cc98ba2045f) has a bunch of nice tutorials for a variety of terrain, with good photographic illustration.

They're videos, rather than articles, but I have found the Terrain Tutor incredibly helpful: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCx_aro8CTHw7ZD5H661hC6Q and also https://www.facebook.com/TheTerrainTutor

Quite keen on Pegasus.

A friend has confirmed they're the ones that do little packs of bricks, so you can build up pretty much whatevs.
