I reckon plastic infantry sets.

The wording on Forgeworld's website about the updated weapon packs definitely suggests you'll be able to get them outside of the Calth boxed set, and a little bird has told me we'll be seeing various other Mks of armour plasticificated in due course - possibly with the Boxed set rejigged to replace the MkIV with a different Mk.

In fact.....it could be Heresy Era BFG. Same little bird that told me about the possible Calth re-jig to include different Mks of armour also mentioned FW were mad keen to do that.

Seemed possible at the time, then came the announcement of SG returning, followed by further info that it's going to be part of the same wing as FW.....

I don't think you'll see individual sprues for sale yet, unless it's a special deal just for the weekend.

My Auspex tells me you'll see MKIII and MK VI armours in plastic in the not too distant future.

Still can't wait for the feathers to fly !

Yes, yes. I think that I will agree with you on that statement.

I wish that GW/FW would come back to the States with these shows, I miss heading to Chicago for the weekend to attend.

So far I don't think anyone has gotten my Yaio joke on the front page... =P

A few grumbles being heard about it, mostly about availability of stock, and a limit of two per customer.

Whilst I can empathise, I can't say I sympathise overly. I went to the first one, wound up skint (hotel in fact hadn't been paid for in advance, so bang went my spending munneh) so just had to enjoy the seminars. I did. Greatly so.

If you treat it as a shop, I get the disappointment. But it's more a sneak preview fan service, a chance to pick the brians of those responsible for the output. If you're going to help avoid hefty shipping costs and indeed import taxes for those in the Colonies, then with the cost of flights and accommodation, you're likely to be out of pocket anyways, especially if you didn't make a reserve pre-order to pick up at the show.

I think I just milmed me kex...and been given an excuse to pick up a box or three of the Mechanicus 'Start Collecting' boxed set, on account whilst the saving is nice, not previously needing another 30 odd Skitarii (I've already got 40)

Both the Stormbird and the Mastodon look truly awesome, but I have to say the glut of new Mechanicus stuff is running them a very close second in terms of coolness.
