with thanks to pretty much every stormraven converter I've seen on the web for advice, ideas and inspiration.

I really like it! I'd be interested in seeing more angles. Is there a cockpit that I'm missing or is that what the sensor module dealy in the front is for?

Its beautiful, the cut between Valk. and land raider is perfect.
Love the Ultramarine Land Raider wreck on the base too. Good use of spare bitz!
I like this a lot... I have a spare Land Raider that I will be using for this, I just wanted to see everybody else do it first, lol

thanks for the feedback! the sensor module is in place of a cockpit, the other versions of this that had cockpits seemed a bit off to me, and I couldn't get one in a way I liked it, so I decided to go with a suite of cameras/sensors instead.
some more pics or other angles:

my room mate plays ultramarines, so the base is in his "honor". he wasn't quite as amused about it as I was.

I love it this is one of the best Stormravens I've seen yet. Definately has that baby Thunderhawk feel. I don't play Blood Angels but I do have Gray Knights and I could really use a couple Stormravens. Very nice paint job too.

The sensor module thing makes a good deal of sense, what with the flying into a warzone and whatnot...:p

Looks like a Stormraven to me :D
Or what I think it should approximately look like.
What are the chances that maybe GW will see all these nice jobs and use them as a basis for it considering it's what people seem to come up with? Not much probably, but it's interesting since there's no pictures of it.

Very nice conversion. Looks like a mini-T-Hawk and with that excactly what i was thinking about the raven. The lack of a "real" cockpit is irrelevant. Nice to see, that you found a fitting place for the spare parts of the LR.

A baby thunderhawk indeed!
I like it very much! Anyway, a few minor points of constructive criticism:
The antenna and the purity seals look cool, but they`d burn/melt when the vehicle enters a planetary atmosphere.
To my mind, the front wings would look better if they were attached in a right angle.
And by the way, the base is funky, but I just can`t get over the idea of using the leftover landraider parts from such a conversion AND a new landraider kit to create an uber-raider which has tracks that go all around and is longer than the average land raider, with three weapon sponsons on each side... *drools on keyboard*

haha, much as this is true, I still like how the purity seals look, even if they have to be re-applied after every orbital entry.

i don't think my conversion skills would be up to that, honestly. they were taken right to the limit with what I did do.

Maybe you can re-position the lascannons to both sides (so 1 on each side), or maybe on the place where you put your sensor. To bad that the left side looks like its going to rip off :(.

the asymmetry of the lascannons being on one side is on purpose, actually. I like it.

Best looking Stormraven conversion I've seen by far.
