Harlequins are just fun to paint. I think it is the demand for freehand that the minis have; the way they revel in having bold, colorful designs painted all over them.
I mean, most minis would feel silly if they had this kind of thing done to them.
Here is a set of Harlequins- they were painted to match a force of harlies where each minis has black and white patterns across them with one vibrant color.
