I fixed the Blood Angels Codex Cover!

So, ever since I saw this pic I knew something had to be done to cover up the hideous artwork that is the cover of the Blood Angels Codex.

Here is what I did:
-took this months white dwarf and cut the picture out (like page 10 or so) with a sharp razor
- went to kinkos and had It laminated and then spiral bound to the book, make sure your guy knows what he is doing or you'll get a bad looking lamination, use a really hot laminator.

Duke, I'm just happy that the cover is the only thing that sucks about this codex.

BTW how do you find having the spiral binding works for you?

is getting the books spiral bound like that a good idea? i've seen people do it with the mini-rulebook before, but noone at my shop has done it so i never think about it. i should do that with my new codex...

Face it, ALL the G.W. Books fall apart. Getting them Spirial Bound like that is a lifesaver.

Do it BEFORE yours fall apart and you lose a page or ten....

It costs me about $5 at my local officemax to have my dex's spiral bound and all I can say is I love it!
For me, it makes flipping through my dex to various entries such as special rules, troop stats, etc...
Best $5 you can invest in enjoying your dex even more.

My Marine codex is starting to come apart, and I know some people's Eldar codexs have pages coming out. I did see a Lizardman Army Book yesterday that was spiral bound and look good.

I had never had a problem with mine until a tournament with my tyranids where my opponent who wasn't really overly familiar with bioweapons stats left it held open for the length of our game. Went to snag it afterwards and a mess of pages had come loose.

I was convinced the Blood Angels were going to get a "sparkle" ability. But Space Wolves are getting a minor FAQ update to give them the Shirtless option with corresponding models.

sparkely ability: roll when a blood angel unit enters assault. The model must make a leadership test at -4. If he fails then the blood angel unit will be able to reroll all to hit an to wound rolls against the enemy. ( ya know, cause h e is so SHINEY)
