View Full Version : Running 4 Command Squads?

I have been throwing around the idea of taking multiple Command Squads. Is there any restrictions on the amount of Command Squads that can be fielded? It would make sense that only 1 would be allowed

In the Blood Angel book Command Squads can pick up jump packs, field three special weapons (Grav!) and comes with a apothecary, this has some slight improvements over an Assault Squad.

Points, really, if you're willing to risk Unbound. Outside of that you are looking at Formation and Elite Slot restrictions.

5 Assault Marines with 2 flamers in a Rhino with dozer blade [100 points]
TROOP
2 tactical squads (5 man) with Flakk Missiles in Rhinos with dozer blades [290 points]
ELITE
4 Command squads with Jump Packs and 3 grav-guns [680 points]
HEAVY
2 Baal Predators (twin assault cannons) with dozer blades [240 points]

This is Baal Strike Force so no Object Secured, instead +1 initiative on the charge (which the priest and scouts can only really utilize). Has no answer for heavy armor, so perhaps I'd soften it with politeness.
