The Caestus Assault Ram is a densely constructed, shield-augmented block of armour designed to smash and burn it’s way through the hulls of enemy ships, disgorging its compliment of Space Marines who can immediately advance. The Caestus has been found to be equally effective against planet-bound fortifications and vehicles, as are the heavily armoured boarding marines of the Breacher Squads it carries.
The Boarding Assault Force includes a Caestus Assault Ram and ten Legion MkIII Breacher Siege Marines armed with boarding shields and Phobos pattern bolters as well as two optional lascutters; two breaching charges; and two graviton guns.
