Hey guys,

At my local GW, they build an Stormraven! An conbination of a Valkyrie and a Land Raider. They are organising a special weekend how to build it. I sure some of you will do a better job! For now i only have 1 picture, more will follow.

great job! closest thing I have seen yet to any of the drawings!

- not sure on the heavy bolters' placement though, maybe one on either side of the front?

Man that is nice! My only beef with it is that to make one takes two of the more dollar intensive kits available.

... but man is it nice

really like the model, great job.

one tiny gripe is the gun on the top in front of the engine intakes would seem impractical with the shell casings getting sucked in.

Now that's a stormraven I can sadly accept :p

That's not a baby Thunderhawk. That's a Thunderchicken!

Now I really like that, is there any possibility someone would be able to video your LGS how to this weekend so that maybe the Fly Lords could put that up on the main sight somewhere. Just an idea.

Now that is one sweet conversion (except for the placement of the heavy bolters..)

Interestingly, just yesterday a guy at our local GW store told me about such a concept for building a stormraven, but I couldn`t quite imagine what he meant. He said some guys in Trier had put together that thing he was talking about; since that isn`t too far from the german border to the netherlands, maybe it was exactly this model he had seen?

Anyway, a tutorial on building this would be highly appreciated!

Best conversion I've seen for it so far, mind you looking at the components it sure aint cheap! ;)

$110 US after sales tax in my area to do that. It's $90 to do the WhirlValk that is in the other thread, but at least there, you get a Rhino out of the deal.

I already have Valk in process, so I'm looking at ways to use it and another vehicle I already own to build something along the lines of these.

That's one of the closest representations I've imagined so far (and I've seen about 15 different varieties of S/Raven). A couple of scale shots would be cool (standard infantry/JP and of course the Dread), to get a better idea of size.

Top marks mate.
