Warlord Titan - a very special project by Awaken Realms!

Hello,

We’re currently working on a very special and very big project – a venerable, millennia old Warlord Titan. It’s a really important project for us – for a “miniature” of that proportion and level of detail deserve the best we can do. And as a display piece, it must be oozing with as much of that as we can!

To represent the great campanies the sacred warmachine of Omnissiah took part in, it’s armour was adorned by the representations of the foes he smited down. Also, may other adornments were added by the Mechanicum Artificers during the centuries of service… take a look at some of those below (and wait for the rest!)

Very nice! The D's in Armageddon gave me some pause, but that could be just the picture.
As for what to add; The Legion colors that this Titan is in should be prominent, adding to many murals may start to look gauche and self-aggrandizing. Glory to the Omnissiah/Emperor, glory to the Legion, then glory to self. Maybe a 'engraved' list of battles, or some 'purity seal' like tassels (I know you all are a painting studio, but...) hanging off the rear shoulder plates. Then there is the groin banner, this sucker is old and has seen quite a bit, so the list could be quite long.

Oh and the name of the Titan. Gotta remind those you are stepping on who's doing the stepping =)

Time for a little update;) This time a banner for the Warlord, depicting the list of great conflicts the warmachine took part of. Pay attention to last two of them – it’s shedding some light upon the allegiance of this particular Warlord and is a bit of foreshadowing of a big come-back of certain someone. ;) Will you be able to guess who are we talking about?:)

Hello,

One last update before the final one:) Take a look at the base of the model – 45cm in diameter – and pictures of the Warlord closing to completion!

And the one coming back is no one else then Roboute Guilliman, fully healed in the stasis field, and walking back on the lead of Ultramarines – and their allied auxillaries (Warlord Titan as well;) )

Wow! you have certainly set the bar high for me to strive in my painting, I've just subscribed to your site account but in your newsletter application I'm not sure what you mean by, "Politics and terms" Where in your application do you delineate your political affiliation?

It's not the politic affiliation thing;) With subscribing to every mailing list you need to mark that you agree to receive the mails from the side sending them (it's a law against spamming and prosecuting those that are sending unwanted messages) - so by marking that you agree to receive our news, you're agreeing the "politics and terms" of participating in the mailing list;)

Wow dude, that's a gorgeous piece of work. Besides the obviously brilliant paint job on the hull, I'm also a very big fan of the shading on the metallic rims and detailing. Do you have any WIP shots of that?
