There is a new Tau Codex, but it's an update to the current one, including all the new stuff we've seen over the past few weeks.

But in the link above? There's Kauyon. It's part Codex Update (so with the current edition and that you once again have all the rules), part Campaign Book.

Colour me intrigued...

Bit torn as to whether just get the updated Codex, or this one.

I went for the campaign book only but I'm worried I'll just end up buying the codex eventually.

I assume you are talking about the luchiban rules leak?

It's more the case that BoLS didn't check their facts in the articles; luchiban had the Spanish CODEX, not Kauyon, and non-english Tau codices are softcover. luchiban leaked several codices early and as such everything he says is confirmed. The only details we might miss would come from translation errors.
