Legion of the Damned Squad

Here are a few Legion of the Damned space marines I did for a client a little while back.

They didn't go with the LotD force that I painted previously (two different clients) and as such, I took the opportunity to paint them in a very different style. They're much cleaner than the other LotD (http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/503991.page) I've done (http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/495355.page).

Very nice. Though personally I prefer my plasma weaponary have green or purple coils rather than blue.

I generally change the plasma color based on the color scheme the group is going with- but if I were pressed, I'd probably say that blue was my default.

I think DoW probably made that the default for most people.

I'm honestly not sure if blue was my default before I played DoW or not.

Same. I tend to go

Blue = power/plasma
Green = force
Red = Chaos power/plasma
Purple = poison

Yeah, I'd vary those as well. I think that the majority of power and force weapons I've done have just been silver, although I've also done a good number of blue or turquoise ones (some with lightning).

Red swords aren't something I do much of- although I really enjoy painting up NMM armor in vibrant jewel tones.
