Nice termies, what'd you use for the shields, and how did you make such a vibrant and solid green?

The shields are from Bretonnian Men-at-Arms, and I got that green by starting with this green:

now THAT is a green. It actually hurts when you first look at it. Impressive coverage, what brand is it?

Montana Gold spray. I wouldn't recommend using it, though, it is the trickiest spray I have ever worked with.

Damn lazy people proxying with cheap dollar store army men... wait... that's a serious coat of green, very even too.

They look great. Do you have any pic's that aren't photoshopped? Be nice to see them as in real life. However, I do like the editing. Adds lots of mood.

Like the combination of the depth of the green and the texture of the white - good work!

Hi, beautiful paint job, just a quick question - what did you use for that grass? It's exactly what i'm looking for.

I was going for a GRIMDARK feel with the HDR tonemapping, here's a crappy pic of them unaltered:

I've been looking for something to get that effect too, but alas, it's just the digital altering of the photo that makes the ststic grass look like that. I've been experimenting with mixes of tan and brown static grasses to try to get closer to that look, though.
