could be cool if somewhat like Mechwarrior. Sad that it's mobile only, the environment looks kinda bland.

Sad that it's mobile only,
Agree, this would be great on Xbox.

Imagine a version of Titanfall using Knights...

Every IOS "only" game I have played has been total FAIL including the Warhammer games with the exception of Armageddon, which was a PC game first.

Deathwatch is cool, Warhammer Quest was decent, Carnage was a pretty fun run and gun game, mobile is the best marketplace for games right now, more people are playing games on their phones than anything else.
Being on mobile platforms isn't indicative of its final quality, yes, this isn't going to be a massive AAA title, but they're risky these days.

Exactly. Less and less people are fronting the money for game development, and it's becoming an industry that's tough to turn a profit in.

Honestly, I've not got a console these days, I have a PC to play games but most of my gaming is done on iOS now, my devices are pretty much always with me and so when I get a few minutes spare I can play. Between the hobby, being an adult and work (in that order), I don't have a lot of free time, so booting up a console or PC to sit for a few hours is a rarity these days.

Got a PS4 and my iPad.
I also have Snotling Fling.
Ain't nobody gonna look me in the face and say Snotling Fling is teh rubbish. It's great. What's not to like about pinging Snotties at people?

Well, it's basically like a different version of Angry Birds... and as much as people loved that for a while, it gets kind of old after a while, because it's such limited game play.
That's really a problem with mobile games in general. Sometimes someone will put some effort into them, like the mobile versions of Warhammer Quest or Blood Bowl.
I think the biggest problem is that a lot of us are also PC/console gamers, and we expect more from a game. A lot of mobile players are fine with repetitive game play they can do in short bursts, like during their lunch break or on their work commute. For those people, overly simple is fine. For those of us who've enjoyed Skyrim, Dragon Age, X-Com, or even the old GW classics like Chaos Gate, Final Liberation, Rites of War, etc., the overly simple stuff isn't enough to hold interest, and feels kind of lazy. (It doesn't help that in some cases the design of these games *is* lazy... they just take an existing game and reskin it.)

But when you're paying no more than £3, it's kind of hard to say you're not getting your monies worth.
Mobile games go back to the olden days of my gaming experience, minus the tape loading of the ZX Spectrum. Short games making use of extremely limited memory. Some are amazing, others a bit rubbish, others still a waste of everyone's time - but as such a low price, it's hard to say you've been ripped off - unless of course you indulge in the Freemium.

I enjoyed playing XCOM more on my iPad than I did on the PC. The touch interface was really nice.
Mobile games are huge, people played Angry Birds for longer than they played Call of Duty.

I personally don't play games much at all lately, though I picked up Total War: Rome, and lost myself in that for about six hours on Sunday. It's the first proper gaming session I've had in the last year and a half or so, other than a run through Space Marine over the course of two weeks. :P
I just don't game, there's not much that really makes me want to buy a console, especially now Microsoft are promising that Windows 10 will support XBone games, so that covers the exclusives I was hoping for there. Fallout 4 is the lumbering, time-stealing leviathan on the horizon waiting to drop on me and claim me, so I'm steadily building a PC for that. That said, I enjoy wargaming more than I do video gaming now. The results of a good painting session make the time feel worthwhile, it's creative, and it's more social. I can sit with people and paint, build or play, have a laugh, and it's all good.
It takes a damn good single-player campaign to draw me in. Last one I remember really enjoying was Metro: Last Light, which despite a few problems was an utterly stellar game, IMO.

Wait, Windows 10 is supposed to support XBOne games? Wow, I was thinking of getting one when it became true backward compatible with the 360, but I might just skip it now. Though I'm still not sure how I feel about Win10 messing up the ability to mod and play with the code of games I own (always a fun thing to do with games like Command & Conquer)... and I probably shouldn't spend so much time on the PC...
My gaming collection includes over a hundred XB360 games, a Steam collection with over 100 games, and a bunch of games in Origin, Blizzard, and outside of services. I might not get around to playing all of them extensively, but I can jump around when I'm bored. I have a friend who likes to get online at night and talk on Skype while playing games, so I'm usually either playing something like Civ V, Rise of Nations, SWTOR, or WoW with him, or talking while playing Fallout New Vegas, Skyrim (still haven't finished either), Rocket League, or something else. I have both the Metro games, but haven't gotten started on them yet. I also still need to finish Fallout 3, Kingdoms of Amalur, play Dragon Age: Inquisition, the Witcher trilogy, Season 3 of Sam & Max...
Basically, I'm kind of the opposite end of the spectrum. But I do still have standards for my games. Helps when you find a bunch of sales, some of them quite insane (like the THQ blow-out with a ton of games in a bundle for $25).
I do take time off to paint, but that's when I want to do a new project and feel like it. I have a bunch of painted armies. Can't work on models with people around, though. Distracts me too much. On the weekends, I'd much rather be at a game store with people than on a computer, but weeknights aren't really possible (closest store is GW store, it closes relatively early).
Windows 10 will support game streaming to the PC. You still need the XBOne to process the game and stream it to the PC.

Yeah, that sounds really pointless. I'd rather play on my 55" TV than my 24" monitors.
