It says 19.50 E on there, so according to XE.com, that means 26.50 ish.

I have been waiting so long for that Marine Statue to release! I can't wait for these terrain peices here are my ideas for using them besides just as terrain on a Table.

1. Objectives!
2. Scenery pieces for my tournament display board

This is most excellent!
Now it will be much easier to make a sort of Spess Mahreen "Hall of Fame."
WIN!

Holy ****. Even with that crappy 'Shrine of the Aquila ruin' piece, the other two are quite delectable.

Time to convert the statue up to Fulgrim...

I am not overly impressed with the 'ruin', but the statue and aquilla look nice. New terrain kits always make me want to start a huge gameboard covered in buildings. The only problem is that I have no space to put it.

The statue's kinda meh, but the other stuff's pretty cool. A great addition for any Cities of Death board.

Like it, but only for the concepts and i like collecting new terrain peices, will look good in my gothic stlye city im building.

If only GW would make a SoB statue as well then perfect my city would be done.

So much for the people who said they knew for a fact it was ab oversized SM model and would never be released to the public as a terrain piece.
I agree with Ms Soulknyt, a SoB version would be fantastic.

Meh, that's not really all that likely to happen. Most Imperial statues and artwork depict the saints, and to my knowledge there's only ever een one Marine ever declared a saint... Sanguinius, and this obviously isn't him. But that doesn't really bother them I suppose. Fluffy scenery pieces takes a back seat to marinewank and all that. It's not even all that good looking, the pose is horrible and II think some other model produced would look a lot better (Emperor knows they've put enough effort into them) if you really have to wank them off that hard.

At least the ruined shrine and the aguila are pretty cool.

I'd be able to judge those terrain pieces better if there would be a marine shown with them for size comparison.
IIRC there was a picture in the rulebook with the statues in? Got to check on that I guess...

Just use watered down Hawk Turquoise on the metal, that's how i paint ' Verdigris ' effect.

Hah. I was just thinking of that thread this morning... :)

Now I'm thinking about two of those statues flanking the entrance to the aquilla shrine... :D

It would seem like many 'background/custom' pieces and models is newer codex' and white dwarfs have been subtly hinting at various terrain and models for well over a year now!

A bastion was seen in the 5th ed rule book
The wrecked rhino/crater piece was seen in the IG book
I remember the SW/Nid Diorama which showed the statues right before the new SW book dropped.
and I'm sure that there are a few others I'm not recalling.

I have found a really cool way to paint Rust. paint the model in Shinning Gold and then wash it in Thraka Green. Some parts actually turn white like IRL. Let me see if I can find a pic.

Cool!

I'm working on painting the Fortress of Redeptions, and was wanted to use that effect.

Interesting effect. I might actually have to use it on shoulderplates for my Celestians, if only because I'm trying out battle-worn and blood/mud stained armor pieces on some of my newer models.

I obviouslydont think my phone camera did justice to it but I'm glad you all got the idea. I have been really happy with the effects. I should like to see how it looks on larger pieces like the fortress. I should do it to my own fortress.

I'm thinking of overlaying the wings with a gold/silver blend, washing in black then over with the green for the copper rust effect.
