Take a look at the Adeptus Mechanicus force – or rather, a beginning of much greater force of the Priests of Mars – done with heavy weathering. The army is strongly tied to the background material, with great care to the squad/vehicles insignia and markings. It’s just the beginning of a much bigger project of the Forge World of Mars…

Soon more servants of the Omnissiah will follow.

Paint jobs look great. Only distraction is the weird assembly on the striders. Its either the goads/rifle or the lascannons/autocannons. Maybe its for dual use, but it looks odd.

Yes, the force have most of vehicle weapons magnetized, so it's to show the interchangeable parts.
