Remora Flight Stand

I've got 5 Tau Remoras and I'm making my own flight stands out of rectangular clear plastic rod.

I was thinking of basing 2 at the height of the skimmer stand, then 2 at twice the height of a Marine and then 1 at the height of a standard flight stand. The three levels will look really cool, but I worry an opponent might find this distateful as the unit can take advantage of being both up high and down low.

Should I stick to one uniform height for all 5 units?

If I cut the rod to a length that's taller than the skimmer stand that they come with, am I gonna cause some "feel badzies"?

I wouldn't worry too much, do you have regular opponents who will have an opinion? Do five variants, but perhaps with only a small difference between them all.

Standard Tau drone stands come in a variety of heights, I've never had an opponent accuse me of cheesing it for using those. It makes them look much cooler as well, IMO.
