Simple question here i guess, does Jaws of the World Wolf affect units classed as Skimmers ie Necrons?

JOTWW only affects MC, Beasts, Cavalry, bikes and Infantry, so it'll do Necrons on the ground quite handily and no WBB either but skimmers are fine.

If you destroyers, yes as tey are classed more as jump infantry I believe.

I thought necron destroyers were classed as bikes? Turbo-boosting and all that.

What about a Necron Lord?

If he's using a destroyer body that makes him a bike. If he's not then he's infantry - normal/standard/subject and still subject to jotww.
I'm pretty sure that no matter how you slice it he is affected.

This is somewhat dumb in my opinion, but jetbikes are technically a subclass of bikes, just like jet packs are a subclass of jump infantry. Compare page 53 with page 52. So yes, Jaws affects jetbikes.

Funny eh? the jet bike is above the ground but still falls in the hole in the ground.

Yup, them's is game dynamics for ya!
Two weeks ago a priest assulted my Valk which has just moved 24" - blew it out of the sky...
We assumed he jumped off the building to hit it!

thats because jet bikes use repulsor tech to hover over the ground with no ground they crash into the hole

Except for the jetbikes that utilize anti-gravity tech. Or the jetbikes that are actually ultralight helicopters. But hey, game dynamics occasionally get weird.

Personally, I don't think Jetbikes should be affected, I think any non-vehicle that isn't slowed by difficult terrain shouldn't be affected, and for vehicles just make it skimmers ignore and non-skimmers don't.
But that's my opinion, the rules don't necessarily agree, but mainly the only difference is jetbikes are affected.
