Like, £5 cheaper than the Lord of Skulls it's based on.

I guess they don't give you the treads sprues...

I also note it's on a bigger base than a Riptide.

I can only assume that thing is a Gargantuan Creature.

I count two twin-linked burst cannon, two twin-linked smart missile systems, two (or a twin-linked) cyclic ion accelerators and what I'm guessing is two (or a twin-linked) airbursting cluster projectors.

If it were April, I'd say it were a joke sculpt.

Had to happen eventually that we'd get a model that even an Ork Mek would look at, grin proudly and say "Now that's the right amount of dakka"

Although I have to wonder why FW seems to relegate itself to just making Riptide variants now for Xenos. Maybe tau are just easier for them to sculpt.

It has three cockpits, one in the center and one in each peck. Also the legs aren't plastic under there, and the base is round.

I don't know what is happening on that model, but it's so ludicrous that I want one. Hah.

Couldn't agree more, it's so perfectly insane with all that firepower. Imagine plonking 3 of those down on the table watching your opponents face start leaking.

I dunno what's more amusing, the ridiculous firepower of the suit, or the rage online because people dislike Tau getting a Titan. We've never had one before that wasn't the hilariously expensive Manta, so I'm quite pleased. :)

Plus it'll be hilariously bad in CC.

Hilariously bad in CC? Sure, it's got no strength D close combat weapon, but if as I suspect it's a Gargantuan Creature then it can Stomp stuff, and even if it's only Monstrous I can't imagine it having less than 3 S6 AP2 attacks (what a Riptide has).

I had the privilege to speak to the FW bloke most likely to get the Eldar Knight job at Warhammerfest last year, and he's up for doing just that.

My first sight of the Mastodon I thought they'd made a conversion kit to turn the Stormwolf into a tank, lol.
Maybe they were going to then decided to just go the whole hog?

I also wonder how many times Eidolon has to put out flames on his cape when he uses his jumpack?

I must say that I quite like the model for Erasmus Golg, it is quite a dynamic model. Now I just have to wait for Forge World to get around to releasing a model for Kyr Vhalen.

My knight has a titan pilot. Entered quite nicely with some plastic traverse from sprue leftovers....only problom is an Eldar pilot ...Heresy :)

I'd imagine that support will simply take the form of battlescrolls for their existing WF figure range to allow those models to be used in AoS. It might mean new fantasy models but I wouldn't count on it.

I wonder if Forge World will accept payment for the Tau Titan in skulls. they are starting to clog up the place now and I need rid of them. there is only so high you can go with a skull throne before it gets silly.
