The new "true scale" toons in C:SM

It seriously irritates me in the new book. Just looks horrendous in my opinion. I know there are true-scale fanatics, and I dig the REAL artwork, but the stretched-out toons look friggin' terrible. Am I alone on this? Probably.

Do you mean the sketches to show off chapter livery/unit markings? They're just there to show the designs you can paint on your models, man, why the fuss?

yeah more of a painting guide and some place to put some minor fluff in..... not ment to be a place of immaculate art. its ment to be accessible to the average player.

It made more sense for them to keep the heroic scale toons from the previous codex, though.
