Hey i'm kind of new to warmachine, have only played a few games after I picked up a Khador battlebox and some second hand bits online, I use Zerkova because I like the look of her but i've heard she's apparently rather bad? Why is that? Every game i've played with her i've done rather well (in fairness our local meta doesn't allow caster kills as a win condition over a certain points level) But i've always found her feat great for area denial

I think one of the main concerns with her is that she wants to get up close and sling spells, but is fairly squishy and doesn't have the movement shenanigans of the Sorschas. Not worrying about assassination might color your perception a bit.
